yesterday
I know I mentioned yesterday that I wish we could figure out how to slow her a.m. drops. I didnt mean to not drop at all!!!! I know most cats dont drop at this point, but she does - in the a.m. This is very unusual! Either there is still a lot of kibble lingering around or I fur shotted it? :?
Latte HAS eaten A LOT of kibble in the past 12hrs!!!!!!! It's almost as if whatever was gettin' her down has maybe started to clear and the pred is doing its thing again? Dont like these numbers so high, but I will take them any day, if she is eating. It was such a relief to go to bed last night and not worry.
A few things I added to my condo late last night -
No more potassium citrate for Latte - labs came back pretty much static (low pH and bicarb). So, she still has the Metabolic Acidosis going on. Since the medicine is not making a difference we will recheck in a few weeks. If its getting worse and/or she is more symptomatic then reconsider starting again. She was VERY VERY happy about this! I will see if I can get them to email lab numbers today. Im curious what her BG was at the time of the draw.
Also - her weight was written wrong on the last set of labs. She has lost a few a few ounces, but not over a lb!
Latte gets the week off, since I picked up an assignment for the week. Her ears REALLY need the break.
Enjoy your tuesday!
