Things started off really ugly this morning with that high pink, but we're back in yellow and hoping for a little more of a slide this afternoon. Still on lb watch - no prezzies to report. After he shocked and scared us by refusing dinner last night, I did get a jar and a half of chicken baby food down him, laced with 1/2 teaspoon of fiber powder, and about three hours later he ate another jar with the other half teaspoon of powder. No results. This morning he ate his mini-breakfast with his shot and his full breakfast at +3, a little more slowly than normal, but he got it all after a little plate chasing. I sprinkled about 1/8 of a tsp of powder in it - I didn't want to give him more in case he could taste it and refused to eat. I plan to give him more at +6 in his snack (FF instead of bonito flakes this time). I just spoke to the vet's office, and they said unless he's straining to go, it's nothing to panic about. I haven't been able to catch him in the act, so I don't know if he's straining. I need to up my surveillance, I guess. I made an appointment for tomorrow, which I will cancel if he goes before then. I'm going to get some squash baby food to try, since others have had success with that. I'm also planning to give him another round of subqs this afternoon. He doesn't seem to be drinking as much water, but he is still peeing a lot, so I think he's getting dehydrated again.
Please keep the poo vines coming.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all the beans. :YMHUG:
