Such a heart breaking day in L&LL today....

I am so very sorry to hear that it was time for Booger to go to the Rainbow Bridge. I hope you can find peace during this difficult time and find a little solace in knowing that Booger does not have to travel alone to the Bridge...there are many who will be there to meet him and make him feel welcome...

I am so so sorry.. May Booger and Cobb fly safe.. They will keep each other great company. May our hearts slowly heal and remember the very special bond and memories of our sweet babies gone to soon. They know they are loved so much.
 
(((Jen)))) This is just heartbreaking and tragic, as is Cobb's crossing. I hope they were together and offer each other the comfort of being away from their beloved mommies. You did a great job taking care of her, Jen. She knew how strong your love is for her. Mike and I send you and your DH our deepest sympathy.

My love is a butterfly.
The day I first held her my heart felt full to bursting. No one could love a kitten more.
She was perfect for me and her eyes followed me with devotion as I moved around in her life.
That love felt full but was only the egg of promise.
The day she was diagnosed was one of panic and grief.
As time passed the panic was replaced by the routine of her care and the grief morphed.
We cocooned, protected each other from forever with the sweetest love, deeper that I ever could have imagined.
The day I had to let her go my heart did truly burst, I feared my love was gone.
But in quiet moments, in the stillness between heart beats I can still feel her purr.
My love is a butterfly.

Thank you so much for all your help and support throughout her journey with diabetes.. You are Amazing people and we couldn't have done it without you Julie, Elise, Sienne, Marje, Chris, Wendy, Amy, BJM and everyone else who supported us along the way. Everyone here has a special place in my heart. From the late late nights to the early mornings and everywhere in between.. Someone was there.. And I want to Thank you all.

Between all the tears falling today in LL in sure we could start our own stream.. I'm ok for a hike and the the flood gates open again..
 
Oh Jen, I'm SO SO sorry it was Booger's time to cross - what a wonderful love you all shared. Remember, she's not gone, you just have to hug her differently.

Soar high on your new Angel wings sweet baby...landing softly back in your family's broken hearts...
 
Thinking of you today and knowing how hard it is to wake up to the reality. Tears falling as I write this. Take care of you now.:bighug::bighug:
 
So very hard.. And watching her civi brother mourn.. He knows. He was by her side all day yesterday. Thank you. We will eventually pick up the pieces.

I like to think they are romping around like kittens with all the catnip they ever need. May knowing that they are all in a better place give us comfort.

It was a terrible day for LL no doubt.. Yet, I still manage to find a small bit of comfort here amongst those who understand... And you're right, I am sure they have by now made good friends with one another and the rest of the guardian angels above.. I still miss her so much though. I can only rest knowing she isn't hurting anymore.. Even if I still am..
