No. Rx Dontral. No.Did they do a SNAP for pancreatitis? Decision on worm or not? Abd xray to see if she swallowed something outside?
@carfurbyIf it was me, I'd skip if you can't get her to eat. I'd be worried she'll go low tonight and not eat. Sending prayers.![]()
No worms?Did they finally agree if it was a worm and which kind?
Thanks for your shoutoutTiffany was a kitten when I had to worm her. I had to bring her to the vet because I couldn’t pill her. I still would not rule out pancreatitis and wonder if she’s nauseous. Do you have any cerenia to try ? I’d skip insulin tonight as well.

.@Marje and Gracie thanks for your shout outWorms can be very difficult to detect unless you do actually find it in the stool. Sometimes, they can be seen at specific times in their life cycle but a negative test does not mean she doesn’t have worms.
If she has continued really smelly and soft poo, it could potentially be Giardia or Coccidia since she goes outside but these are also difficult to diagnose. They usually treat based on really smelly, soft poo.
Cats can receive weekly Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) injections, if needed, for up to six weeks. Then once monthly. Not sure why the vet said only one per month.
Do not give Aloe Gel! The only aloe vera you can give a cat is fractionally distilled and the only one I am aware of is George’s.
The chomping and pawing at her mouth is really strange. Nauseous cats will sometimes grind their teeth. I do agree she needs someone to do a specfPL. I am surprised they didn’t do any labs or fluid support (Subq fluids). Does she seem to be in pain.....meatloafed with head down?

Not true. Giardia can be difficult to diagnose. When my Tobey was a kitten, he had the symptoms but nothing showed up in his stool. We treated for Giardia and it cleared up and never came back. What tests if any did the ER doctor run? It's not difficult to diagnose Giardia. You just need a poop sample or a swab from the bum.
Is there another vet you can see soon? What meds did ER doctor administer to you?
No it won’t. The vet will have to figure out which one it is, if it is the issue, and prescribe the appropriate drug such as Albon.Would rx Drontal eliminate these?
Absolutely NOT good. The only one I am aware of that is safe to give cats is the one I indicated. I’m wondering if this is the source of the problem...the aloe gel.Aloe gel I have been giving her, by Herbal Aloe Force? Not good?
Sounds like she’s feeling pretty poorly.Well yes I guess now she is n pain. She is meatloafing with head hanging low... too often over past 60 hours
