With R, you don't want to give it as rebound is clearing out, or breaking on its own

Now I'm a little paniced, I already gave it to him!!!!! His number is pretty high, do you think I should be worried????

his rebound isn't breaking, it even higher than it was last night at +7.5. Hopefully the R today will keep him out of the black.

I'm in a little of a panic, I gave Buddy his 6.5 and .25R then I started thinking was there something about NOT giving R if the numbers are high from REBOUND????????

Hope someone can answer.. Will be back in a while.

hi jan. i *think* what you're referring to is the concept jojo (a very experienced user of R) had us pass on to you regarding the use of R and rebound...
shooting R as the bounce is breaking is the #1 mistake R users make. you don't want the synergy of two insulins plus the clearing of rebound hormones to happen simultaneously.

about R... don't be afraid to use it to bring the numbers down, k?

black kitty had IAAs. as you can see, sandy had to use R quite a bit in conjunction with Lantus to squish those IAAs.
having R is a GREAT tool to have at your disposal! ;-)

OK I just looked at Black Kitty's SS. and I see what you mean. I'm still having the problem of understanding when it's REBOUND or just a high number??? :?

So it would be good for me to use R "as long as it is with a pre-shot", right. I can also use it at +6 because I need to wait at least 6 hours.

Am I saying this correctly???
