She's eating consistently, sleeping a lot. Tried doing a bit of reiki on her today; not sure if it worked, but she was purry either from that, or more likely from the attention I was giving her :lol:

Bad mommybean had been slacking on brushing her, and discovered this weekend the mother of all matties on her right flank. Wondering if that's what made her look like she was limping - the tangles were pulled tight together, it must have hurt. And we thought it was just worsening arthritis in cold weather :sad: It took me three days to clip and untangle most of it.

On a happier note, she and Cali have finally discovered the DVD we got Cali for Christmas - we caught both of them watching (alternately, not at same time) the squirrels on TV. Cali Imp was very funny; we moved the coffee table right in front of the TV, and she climbed up and sat and watched, and kept reaching her paw out and tapping the TV screen :lol:

oh yeah LH cats can get matts that will make them limp. (you don't even want to know about the cat 'that could not walk' that came into animal hospital one time....cat could walk just fine, if wasn't hog-tied with matts). glad that is gone.

well not tonight, been here for a bit and had dr. appt today so am toast. be back one day soon....

eeeek. i hadn't realized ss wasn't updated beyond this morning, so you didn't see bounce. have updated now, no noodles please.

limp - i think it's not as pronounced now, but could be just my imagination. she has always had slight limp/stiffness from arthritis, but i was telling acu. vet at the last appt i couldn't understand why she seemed to be so much more stiff. i've asked dh to observe when she walks and see what he thinks. she did relax midway through my clipping through it, and actually dozed off at one time, so it must have offered some relief to her. prior to that she was resistant and whacking me - i have two scratches and a small bite as payment for my sub-par work :mrgreen:

video of imp - all in good time. she's still terribly skittish and will run off if i get the camera (she's got it into her head that i videotape her to tattle on her to daddy - not true. well, not true most of time ) she will not stay on the coffee table at all if daddy's in the LR - she adores him, but is also in awe of him. sienne, no they don't talk to the squirrels - neither of them are "chatty" cats. meowzi just stares intently, but has short attention span. cali is completely entranced with giant squirrels so close up :lol:

Nice to see Meowzi update -- didn't like the biting part, but LOVED the squirrel part!! Where did you find a squirrel DVD??

Here's hoping the fur clean-up eases that limp. :smile:

Awww.....that just made me melt. :smile: My civvie is wildlife obsessed too and spends most of her days plastered to the windows watching squirrels, deer, and birds.

No bad mommybeans in here. All I see is a 100% awesome mommybean.
