I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. It was a good one here yesterday. I enjoy our mornings here before we all get so busy and take off for the day. The boys will play together, well Nicholas will show William how to do things, and give him toys to play with. Then we work on "the plan" for the day. This was from the activities director when I picked him up yesterday: "ok grammie, this is the plan: Juanita Beach, then the aquarium, then bothell park, lunch with mommy, then the science center, then picnic point and then we go swimming. You ok with the plan? OK? We need to compromise?"    We did have to compromise! We talked alot about swimming in the evening, once William had been dropped off with his dad. It was nice to see him warm up to a new pool. This is what I posted late last night, once I got home from a very long day: "HI everyone! here is is 9:30, and I have just walked in the door.... AM I ever tired! Nicholas and William and I have a full day today - we visited their mom at work, and then we took their mom out to lunch at Nicholas's favorite place: Red Robin. Dang that was good! I had hope to be able to go the a beach park today, but the temps just never warmed up, nor did the fog lift. I was about 35 and foggy most places. so... we elected to keep it indoors. Since the KIdsQuest Children's Museum was so close their mom's work I elected to take the boys there. Nicholas was excited - he loves the place. William does well there too: he really enjoys the water things. Nicholas wanted to go swimming too, so we continued with what is becoming another traditions: FR night swims. We had a great time, pigged out on burgers and fries after that. Great day, but a long one. ;-) " yes it was, a very long day. It still amazes me at just turned 3 Nicholas is so full of energy, ready to go at a drop of a hat. He was fairly tired after the children's museum, so I asked him if he still wanted to swim. His face lit up, the engines revved and he was all set: "YES GRAMMIIE! Let's go! " This was a hoot. All day we talked about which pool, and each time he says Lynnwood. So we get there, and I hear this groan from the back seat, followed by : "oh no! Grammie, this is the wrong pool! I made a mistake. I picked the wrong pool! Can we go to the other pool, pleeaasssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?" ah heck. traffic sucked, we were delayed, but... we went to the other pool. he was so taken back by his error, how could I say no? What an awesome day.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. she still helps me shower: lots of shower door pounding, and sitting on the towels, warming them up for me.  When I got home last night I watched Bug continue to maneuver Lola into runs and romps. That is so fun to watch. There was nothing amiss when I got home, just kitties waiting at the top of the stairs. They seem to have adjusted to the late Friday nights. I get a few meows, some leg rubs, they get scritches in return, and then off they go. We have been a bit on the foggy and cold side here, steady mid 30's, fogs that just have not lifted. Both Bug and Elsa, and even Lola some too, seem to have spent the day napping in their beds. I think Elsa went out for a bit, but she sure didn't stay long. Smart girl! Off to a warm bed for her after that. yupp, for sure Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I am off with my DD, DSIL, and the boys in a few to the Pacific Science Center for a model train exhibit that they have their this weekend. It sounds really cool, with lots of interactive things for all, and Nicholas loves trains, so we all thought this might be good to see. It should be a fun morning. Nicholas is so excited to be able to show his mom and dad one of his favorite places. Time permitting, I may go for a short hike though the woods to the shore here once I get home. ;-)

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Hi Michelle,
What a great day you all had yesterday, and it sounds like today will be great, too, with a visit to the TRAINS! Have fun. Hope you get in a short hike, too.

Thank you, Elsa, for the delicious ~O)

Check back with you later,

Ella & Rusty

I am looking forward to this morning - it is a new exhibit for us, but should be fun. TRAINS! :-D :-D :-D  THX, I hope so too on the hike. The weather has just started to improve, so I really hope that this afternoon will be nice. paws crossed!
Auntie Ella! You are so welcomes! I LUVS my job! ~~ Elsa, KBP

It's so nice to have a towel warmer, what luxury! ;-) Yesterday sounds like quite a day. I really miss swimming now but you won't be catching me in a bathing suit anytime soon  And I love Red Robin too! It's a good thing you have Elsa to make all that coffee, with all the running around having fun you do :-D Have a good time at the train exhibit, and Happy Caturday Michelle!

Hi all! Good day for everyone? I sure hope so. Our weather was more or less lousy, we didn't get much above 41, not much in the line of sun either, but the fogs did leave. Still felt really cold though. SO, perhaps it was a good ting that it was an indoor type of day. We had a good time at the Science Center. Nicholas anted to see it all, so we more or less did. The train exhibit was decent. ALot of model trains there, more geared for the adults than the kids. We did find a few interactives that were all kid oriented, so the little guy was able to run a few of the trains. He really loved that part. There were a few of the models that he liked too. They had some working ones that were very nice. It was unfortunate that most of the trains were majorily hands off, behind plexiglass. At least he could see them run. The place was packed, alot of little kids there, alot of them unruly with unruly parents. no wonder most of the exhibitors didn't want these models touched. Some of these guys had some really nice stuff. We visited everything else there too. Second best on the list in little guys opinion was the butterfly house - he loves that too. Today he got himself a chart of all the butterflies and we went in search of them. That was fun. He found most of them too. HI dad was lucky enough to have one land on his head, sit there for a while. Nicholas thought that was great. William slept through it. The day sure was a nice time out and about at the Science Center. Erin and I bought an annual family pass: covers 6 family members: $100/year. I paid half, saves me a ton of monthly over the course of the year. Free Imax too. I knew i'd need to get one, as Nicholas now costs to get in, $18 for me each visit. Seems to be that that $50.00 will pay for itself in no time. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi John ~O) ~O) ~O) It was fun! They had alot of trains there to show, some really nice ones! Some geared for the dis too. Nicholas had a great time, and ow wants his dad to build a system at home. That may just happen as dad likes trains too. And yes, took alot of photos, oh all we did there.
Uncle John! You are so welcomes. I see that Tess was busy today too.... she wants to make sure you stay busy I guess... SO need some more for tonight too? ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Rachel ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL, and YES on that towel warmer, she does such an excellent job!  It was a busy, but good one yesterday. PHEW! and heck - out on that suit and go swimming! :-D oh yes on all the coffee.... it is my salvation in the morning. Thx on the trains, it was a fun time.
