@Suzanne & Darcy YOU ARE A SAINT for responding so quickly
I know this is probably premature, but knowing the SDMA is 14 (right on the edge) and the phosphorus creeping up slowly over the last year, I thought it best to implement whatever changes I can to slow the progression.
Funny - I told the Vet that her fructosamine would come back high. I'm using the FSL which tends to read lower and even though she's been seeing better numbers overall, the bounces are awfully high, especially the last three weeks and are taking the full 3days/6cycles to clear.
I do add a tsp to her feedings/snacks. She rarely touches her cup of water. She also won't drink from a fountain.
She seemed a little off last week - sneezing a bit more than usual but she's perked up as of last night and today. I'll start adding more water to her meals and snacks. Plus her PH is way high and she has FIC.
Will added water help with this?
She's getting a mix of foods -
Ziwi Peak pates (but they've been out of stock)
Weruva Truluxe - Steak Frites, Glam & Punk and On the Cat Wok; Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Lamburgerini
KOHA LID pates

KOHA Duck Stew

And KOHA shreds as her MC

She is notorious for suffering from Food Boredom and I usually have to rotate flavors &
textures. I'll do a deeper dive into lower end phosphorus foods. I have the link to the list Andrew's list of CKD foods and the one that is also diabetic and ckd.
She's not a fan of chicken pate/shred/chunk unless I cook it

.
What should I be looking for in terms of Phosphorus mg/100kcal and on a DMB?
I have been trying to keep her on food that represents itself at phosphorus at under 300mg/kcal but I have no clue what that would be in DMB. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
My local mom&pop pet store gave me a sample of weruva's WX food, but I haven't tried it on her yet.
Maybe I should supplement the WX food as her after nadir snacks since its low carb and low phosphorus?
