I don't know if I've asked this before, but do you check for zero error before you use a syringe? That is, do you see if the top of plunger aligns with the zero mark when fully pressed?

Nope, i didn't check for any zero error so far. Should I be checking on them from now on? And if it's not aligned, what should I be doing?

When you first use a syringe, push the plunger all the way in to see if it lines up with the printed zero line. A lot of syringes have their markings way off and that affects the accuracy of the dose. Especially with smaller doses every little bit matters. I have been wondering whether she is getting a consistent dose. You could either set aside faulty syringes or try to adjust the dose after providing for the error - if you know what I mean.

Checked the syringe just now before injecting and it's off the line (plunger is above the line). It will be very expensive to set aside those faulty syringes in the long run, so I adjusted the dose accordingly by how much the line is off by. Hopefully this is accurate enough. o_O

Thanks for the advise!
