Yesterday, a bounce recovery day.

1/14 Recap:
AMPS 161 +4.5 292 +9 202
PMPS 232 +5 285

Still waiting to see if her bounce is winding down, but that AMPS is somewhat promising. It's likely her nighttime nadir on Lev. The cats let me sleep in until the alarm - so nice when that happens. It's gradually getting lighter earlier, so I imagine it won't be long before they wake me up for breakfast.

Neko got her second cartrophen shot yesterday so I'm watching every action to see if there is improvement. She was really seriously thinking about hopping on the kitchen stools to get onto the counter while I was preparing breffs. Still no dice, but at least she thought about it for a while.

Think blue and green today kitties! I think we might have sunshine here today and blue goes so well with that.

Awww, so sweet your kittehs let you catch some zzz's. I hope it's not so they can take some away tonight :lol:

I've been stalking Chyna when she walks too, hoping to see anything that shows me it's working ;-) Paws crossed both our girls do some little jumps and walk better soon :-D Keep up the blues Neko, and maybe go visit the lagoon today for your bean?

Somehow Neko got the numbers all jumbled up from this morning.. Come on back down beautiful. That certainly was a very nice start to the day for her.
I'm so glad that they let you snooze this morning, that was very kind of them :smile:

It looks like Neko's not done with the bouncing. I hope she comes back down soon. Hopefully the Cartrophen will help her quickly.

Neko still likes the numbers 1, 2, and 3, but I liked them better in the other order. ohmygod_smile True to form, 3rd cycle after going low is her worst part of the bounce. (I hope). But there's sunshine in the solarium and fleecy beds to be kneaded so she's feeling good.

@Mariko - Nice start but then she shot up before onset. :YMSIGH: BOING! Me too on the shots. If she's not better by the fourth one then we'll have to look at giving bupe.

@Devon - Neko likes to tease me with good starts. :lol: I think getting on the kitchen counter is my test of when she's feeling good.

@Rachel - Anybodies guess what's happening tonight. :lol: Neko will hop onto chairs but the stool is quite a bit higher. It's the one in the avatar.

@Lauren - Neko is on Levemir so PS is often her nadir and she onsets later. But she used to do this same move on Lantus. She just likes to bounce during the day. :roll:

@Carla - I kind of was expecting more bouncing in reaction to the 37, she didn't prove me wrong. :lol:

I hope Neko had turned it around for you by now! I can't remember if I posted it in your condo or Rachel's, but when my civvie, Mario, started Adequan, it did take us several weeks before we saw results. Once it started to help him, it really helped. I'm assuming cartrophen works much the same way, but don't know that for sure.

The shot is for arthritis?
Wouldn't you want to try acupuncture before bupe, and save the bupe as the next option?
I heard acupuncture works well for arthritis, more so than internal organ issues like Lucy's case.
I hope Neko isn't too painful.... :sad:

Surfing mid yellows. I wonder what's next. Neko was pretty active (for her) this afternoon. She wanted out twice. She went out the first time, came back in a while later, and 5 minutes later asked to go out again. What'ya forget outside girl? :lol: And the anti scratch spray is not working on the stair carpet. :evil:

@Liz - Back to yellow, thankfully. They had a good solarium visit. I took the opportunity to start up the evil vacuum monster.

@Rusty - Maybe the ice fishing and sledding will help the bg's, not sure which way though. ~Neko

@Amy - I've used cartrophen before for a old very arthritic civie, it took a few weeks to get going. I think it's supposed to work the same as Adequan.

@Mariko - Yes, it's for arthritis. I don't know of many vets on the North Shore that do acupuncture. Well, I know of one but she has a waiting list.
 
Funny how we can tell how good their joints/muscles are feeling by the things they jump to or sit on. When Cleo started feeling better, she would look up at the counter, then walk back to the side that has her "steps.' I can tell how her legs are by where she jumps from, and if she uses her assists :-D Very heartwarming to see her improve. Sending vines that the cartrophen is kicking in for Neko, and she clears her bounce quickly!
