Last night's +2 was 65, so I fed and stayed up an hour. Got 74. Is this the beginning of another long green surf?? Either way.... :-D

I would agree. He is doing so well Kathy. So nice to see your hard work and dedication making such progress. Surf nicely Kitty. Is the surf board waxed and ready Kathy? Hope so!

Re: 1/13 Kitty +6 67

Yep, surfboard waxed and ready...in the corner, because he needed a loooooong nap first!

couldn't get anything but a +6 today, but I will be more varied tomorrow.

Re: 1/13 Kitty PMPS 78

Thanks for the compliments, but wait til I confess... we kinda sorta took a drop out of the dose. (Shhh.)

It isn't deliberate. It's just that these fats and skinnies are so hard to measure. When we prepare the syringe, we think, "Don't want it to be too much. I'll just ease a teensy bit out." And before you know it... the dose isn't realy fat anymore. So we're just calling it what it really is. Plain ol' 1.5.

ack. wish you could have held onto the dose longer, but i do understand the issue with measuring. it's happened to me on occasion...

I keep telling Jill that I'm going blind trying to measure those fat and skinny doses. (The "very fat" dose was truly a challenge!!!)

And I'm using a magnifying glass too!! Where's that jeweler's glass...

I know I should have held it longer. I really didn't mean to do it. We are still using the syringes without half-unit markers, so we're measuring based on where the stopper is in relationship to the line. Our mark for 1.5 fat was:

"where the bottom of the stopper is mostly above the line, but there's a little bit of it just below the line."

This becomes very ineffective when the size of the darn stopper changes from syringe to syringe!

At least where we are now (the bottom of the stopper meets the top of the line) is easier to hold.

don't worry about it, kathy. kitty probably won't notice! :-D
i know what you mean though. i not only used a magnifying glass... i wore reading glasses, too. it's tough to measure consistently...

It's just my inner scaredy-cat. If I can't get it exact, I'll choose too little over too much every time.

This is NOT my fault. I ORDERED MY PERFECTROMETER AGES AGO! cat(2)_steam It still hasn't shown up. confused_cat
