Good mornin' to everyone,
Bo didn't have a great afternoon yesterday, he stayed in bed and he cries whenever I touch beyond his shoulders. But around 230am this morning, Bo got up on his own and went down the ramp (I have a ramp for him that runs along the side of the bed to make it easier for him to get up and down), right into the litter box and peed, then walked out in the hallway and relaxed sipping some water from his bowl. About half hour later he comes into bed and makes a b-line for my side. I know this is temporary but it makes me happy that he doing pretty well under the circumstances.
I did call the Vet this morning and asked him questions when I have to bring Bo in. They know Bo gets very stressed going to the vets and cries on the way out there. I wouldn't want Bo to cry the day I have to bring him in, that would just break my heart. I inquired about the buprenex that I have here when Bo has pain, the vet said that I could give him a double dose that would make him pretty sedated for the ride out. The doctor said that he will see how that works in regards to giving him a sedative before being putting him to sleep.
Bo is on the bed relaxing soaking up the sun, that's the way I like to see him.
