Yesterday, last day of 2013 started with a great low blue surf and ended with a permission slip to go to a New Year's Eve party.

Sorry for the very late start. The last two days have been crazy here. Little girl gave me a permission slip to have a long btb to try to catch up on my recent late night's out and then I had to fight with creating this years SS. Hope I've got it.

This new dose started fine, but seems to have fizzled a bit. She's still got a couple of cycles before I decide if she needs yet another increase. Yesterday morning's syringe was a bit bubbly, so she might not have gotten all she should have, and the results seem to show up later. So it's a brand new year with a brand new pair of tight patience pants. :lol:

Neko was quite playful last night when we got home from the New Year's party. I was dismantling my fascinator (hat themed party), when she discovered the golden string that was part of it. She was dancing around quite a bit after that. :-D I like when she actually moves for play, rather than playing lying down.

Wishing everyone a great new year. Onwards and upwards, except for doses to go downwards! :-D

Soul sista' did the same thing this morning....up at +5...what?????? Hope Neko comes back down as Gracie has started that way.

Glad you've gotten out and had fun!! You deserve it!

Hi Wendy! I'm glad Neko allowed you to party AND sleep ;-) Wish we'd gotten to see a pic of that fascinator before it fell into the land-sharks' claws . . .

I was doing the spreadsheet battle today too. Having totally messed it up, I was rebuilding a lot of the formatting, and one thing I figured out is how to make all those zeroes vanish - I added a rule to the conditional formatting that if it equals zero, the text colour is white.

Yuck, that is not a pretty color, Neko. What is a "fascinator"? I'm fascinated. :lol: Happy New Year, Wendy!

@Marje - I debated not testing Neko until +9, when she starts higher her onset is often later - except when it's not. :lol:

@Amy - Fascinator wasn't that great. Wish I'd read the party invite a little closer than the afternoon of the event. :lol: Thanks for the great tip on the SS formatting, that has bugged me for ages!

@Liz - Paws crossed that was Neko's peak number and she's now headed down. A fascinator is like a large hair decoration/hat alternative for women. Kate Middleton and her wedding highlighted them.

Hi Wendy! Thanks for the syringe advice. Ah well, it's only money :? :lol: I'm glad you had a nice night out and a btb from Neko...now it's time to play in some greens, Neko :mrgreen: I love it when I can get Chyna to play, it's so cute. Short lived, but cute ;-) I hope those patience pants aren't too tight! Happy New Year to you and your family, Wendy :-D

Sounds like y'all had a nice night - YAY! for Neko playing!! Hershey usually lays down to play and I'll take it - especially since for so long he didn't even do that. That (311) is an unwelcome sight, though. I hear ya' on the bubbly syringe. I hate that, but can't always seem to find a way get rid of them, especially as the pen gets low.

I just get a bag of dried black-eyed peas, boil them for 10 minutes, let them sit for an hour, dump them in a crock pot with salt, pepper, a little olive oil, garlic, and an onion and then let them cook on high for hours until they are soft. Sometimes, if I have ham, I throw it in, too. If I'm in a hurry, I just open a can of black-eyed peas :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
Happy New Year Wendy! I hope Neko slides down nice and easy for you. I hope I can figure out how to make a new spreadsheet for 2014 - I don't remember how I made the first one! I'll have to work on that tonight.
