Last Night:
597 PMPS
563 +2.75
269 +9.5
I didn't test much last night. I slept. I think most would do the same if they saw a 597 followed by a 563.

J.D. ate about 1/4 can (that would be a normal meal for him) at +11.5. He was standing by the front door, so we went for a quick walk. It was nice to see the stars. Often in New Jersey there is cloud cover.
I think he is ready to start eating on his own, but that's just a guess. As long as I keep his tummy full he's not going to do it. Tomorrow, he has a fasting blood work at 8:30am. He normally gets fed at around 4:00am (sometimes later), at 6:00am, and around 7:00am. He's going to be so hungry by the time we get home. I have a 3 day weekend coming up and I am praying that I can decrease his syringe feeding and watch him eat on his own.

The doctor said not to give him fluids 12 hours before the test. I will try to give him his fluids as soon as I get home, so as close to 6:00pm as possible, and then his blood test is at 8:30am. Hopefully, that will be sufficient.

I agree with you on that one!

I'm so sorry that he's been in such high numbers. I'm sending lots of good appy vines and good vetty vines for tomorrow. :YMHUG:

Nice slide! Sending good appy vines and paws crossed for the blood work. I hope the fasting tomorrow will help stimulate J.D. to eat on his own. I've been using the Nature's Variety freeze dried Boost treats to get Tes to eat lately, she loves the! They come in Chicken or duck.

J.D., real fuds are so much better than those yucky syringes! -- Tess

It's good to hear J.D. was eating on his own this morning. I hope he continues to do so. Sending good vetty vines for b/w tomorrow.
