Good morning!
AMPS 259 shooting an increase to 1.0u
Boomer ate all of his +3 and extra fuds, very little of his +6, and most of his +9. He decided to call us for help at 4:20 this morning
but his +9 auto feeder actually turns at +8.5 (4:30) so I didn't get up.
Allen ate very well last night and left a deposit in his lb.
Our trip to Long Point yesterday was nice but didn't result in much photography. The majority of the birds we saw were ones that had flown into the nets that are used to catch them (in order to document and tag them). I saw two Hummingbirds, 2 Warblers and one other unidentified bird caught in the nets. I know why it's done and they do check the nets every 15 minutes but I still feel so bad for the birds when I see it. Anyways, I did manage to get a decent shot of a hummingbird while I was there. And we visited a second place near Long Point where we always have luck....there were no songbirds there either; only a few birds on the water at the edge of Lake Erie. Turns out two of those birds were male Wood Ducks and one was in breeding plumage (all the ones around London are in dull non-breeding plumage right now) so I did get a distance shot of them.
Today on the agenda: well DH is golfing this morning and golf league is done today so they're all going out for lunch. Then DH has a specialist appt this afternoon and I'm going with him. I won't go into details yet but I know the power of the FDMB vines so if you have any to spare please send them along.
Today's photo is one I took a few days ago. I went to an area known as "The Coves" because there was a Great Egret hanging around. While watching the Egret, a Great Blue Heron flew in and I photographed it just as it landed.

Might take awhile but on it!
