Good morning!
AMPS 259 shooting an increase to 1.0u

Boomer ate all of his +3 and extra fuds, very little of his +6, and most of his +9. He decided to call us for help at 4:20 this morning  but his +9 auto feeder actually turns at +8.5 (4:30) so I didn't get up.

Allen ate very well last night and left a deposit in his lb.

Our trip to Long Point yesterday was nice but didn't result in much photography. The majority of the birds we saw were ones that had flown into the nets that are used to catch them (in order to document and tag them). I saw two Hummingbirds, 2 Warblers and one other unidentified bird caught in the nets. I know why it's done and they do check the nets every 15 minutes but I still feel so bad for the birds when I see it. Anyways, I did manage to get a decent shot of a hummingbird while I was there. And we visited a second place near Long Point where we always have luck....there were no songbirds there either; only a few birds on the water at the edge of Lake Erie. Turns out two of those birds were male Wood Ducks and one was in breeding plumage (all the ones around London are in dull non-breeding plumage right now) so I did get a distance shot of them.

Today on the agenda: well DH is golfing this morning and golf league is done today so they're all going out for lunch. Then DH has a specialist appt this afternoon and I'm going with him. I won't go into details yet but I know the power of the FDMB vines so if you have any to spare please send them along.

Today's photo is one I took a few days ago. I went to an area known as "The Coves" because there was a Great Egret hanging around. While watching the Egret, a Great Blue Heron flew in and I photographed it just as it landed.

Your picture is amazing!!!

Loads of vines and prayers for your DH! Hmm, I can't help but wonder what Boom's might be doing on some nights after +2. It's been a while since you've gotten any later night tests. Work the juice buddy. Glad to hear Allen is doing well too :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Sending tons of healing vines to your DH. :bighug::bighug::bighug: I hope the results are good.

Beautiful picture!!! We have one that's supposedly a local (we just moved here last Thursday) and hangs around the creek near us, my sister who's into photography took a gazillion pictures yesterday. We call them pterodactyls, lol, and we've named him Clarence. If you get a minute check her out on Instagram alleycat666

:bighug:Mega vines for DH today. :bighug:
Thanks for egret photo they are amazing.
Btw: your blue heron photo awhile ago got me thinking of a piece Steve wrote years ago for Northeast magazine, the title was I think “In Search of the Great Blue.” With a beautiful title illustration that he has a copy of but the article itself is somewhere else in his Sherlock Holmesian “system,” lol. Would you be interested in reading it if (wish me luck!) I can find it?

Yes absolutely I would!

Piling on the vines for your DH. :bighug::bighug:

Great photo of the heron - we had to interrupt one on the beach where we put the rowing shells in yesterday. They definitely sound like pterodactyls!

What's up with Boomer, beside his BG's? I agree with Karen, a few +3-+4s might be in order at night, especially when you see a steep drop at +2.
