09/09 Tuffy Update

[Barbara and tuffy]

WCR: Unless she looses the attitude she will be looking for a new home. She starts my day by purring and kissing my cheek. If I don't get up immediately, she nips me on the cheek and then runs. If I sew or read she is either grabbing the thread or smacking at the book. I think she is a little spoiled. Last week we had company and she woke Pauline in the middle of the night with purrs and kisses, Pauline obliged by petting and when she dozed off, Tuffy nipped her. We laughed. Good thing Pauline is a kitty person. She also put 2 toys in her overnight bag. Don't know if she wanted to go home with her or they were gifts. "That Darn CAT"

I have toyed with giving insulin but after the stray(s) leave she comes down. She is adjusting. I think this morning's number was high because there was more than 1 stray. She seemed to be adjusting to him and then - company. Tuffy believes fish and company are odoriferous after 3 days.

The stray was on the patio this morning with 2 friends. Needless to say the "Queen" had a fit. Don't know where the 2 new ones came from but I may have a home for the first arrival. All crossed that works. My landlady is not a cat person and she does not like me feeding them. Can't call Animal Control of SPCA because they have so many animals from foreclosures they just get PTS. This will work out and they will be fine.

Everyone is well here (animals and human). Be back when I can.

:lol: I don't know, Barbara. I think the dictionary definition of "attitude" is "Tuffy." Or should I say, Queen Tuffy.

I'm sorry those darn strays stress her numbers, but she really is looking pretty good!
