Details, details, details... which matter so much.
I've been learning subtle things about the Libre 1 that make all the difference. I had to buy my last sensor at a pharmacy with slow turnover because it was out of stock everywhere else. When the sensor sits on the shelf too long, the battery or internal components degrade, and it usually fails within a few days. Sure enough, bingo!, that's exactly what happened. Moving forward, I need to stick to stores with high turnover where fresh stock arrives constantly.
Long story short, new Libre 1 on Mami yesterday... they are back in stock.
Yesterday, NS in the morning. New Libre 1 in the evening plus new lab work for comparison. I hope her visits to the vet clinic get more and more reduced after August... so she can feel less stressed or anxious.
In this way her numbers get better too.
I am still giving her the LC can from the different lot in the morning. I'm changing only one variable at a time: one supplement will now be in the afternoon.
Her LC food from the regular lots written "new formula" = she eats them for the rest of the day, as always.
Her drop in the morning is much less intense since September 2. Different AMPS curve. Smoother. Higher numbers in the evening too. I am still trying to find a more exact reason - or maybe her pancreas/liver are just more balanced now? No more big dives at +1 and +2 as before (this makes me more relaxed, to be honest). It all looks a bit similar to July, when I stopped with the drop...
I can only be sure of that when I go back to her regular LC can at AMPS too.
I will wait for her iron panel plus some other vitamins (lab work) to be ready. And I will continue with the drop and see what happens. Another curious fact: last night, no big rise around +8 or +9. Yesterday she had 1 drop only at PMPS, but not in the morning.
New month and many different things!
Let's see what September brings.

safe surfs to all!!
