Hello LL!
Zoe has been doing quite well. She has been OTJ since 12/26/08....and I am so proud of her for doing well. Her BG remains around 80 whenever I check it. I do try to check it everyother week just to keep both of us in practice, but sometimes I forget and Zoe does not remind me!
She was diagnosed with HyperT in May and has been on Methimazol since 5/15....after thinking and thinking and saving the money, she goes in on Weds., 9/8 for the I-131 treatment. I KNOW this is a good treatment, but I am still nervous about leaving her at RadioCat until Saturday morning.
Zoe's asthma is well controlled and she does an amazing job with her inhaled meds.....shocking to me! I never would have believed my kitty with major "tortie-tude" would ever accept being 'puffed' .
If you could.....say a little prayer or send good, calming thoughts on Weds for Zoe when I take her in for the treatment....I know they work miracles.
