Mouse is down to 49 @ +3... do I give high carb food now?

Wow! Did you get another test soon after? Sometimes a bad strip or not enough blood could give you a wonky reading. What did you feed?

Haven't fed just yet... trying not to panic, started reading the FDMB sticky on how to handle low numbers. Should I test again right now? It's been about 20 min since she tested 49

OK. So she came up to 54 without any food after that 49??!! Anyway, 49 and 54 are within meter variance of 15-20%
Normally we feed higher carbs when numbers drop below 50 - especially early in the cycle. Feed her some MC now.
That drop below 50 earned her a reduction. Congrats!

Before I give medium carb wanted to let you know 20min. after that 54 she tested at 63, still no food influence

I'm thinking 1 tsp LC and ¼tsp MC to start with... does that sound reasonable? Then Ill test again before I have to leave to take my wife to work and feed again before I go (I'll only be gone 15-20 min).

Since she's staying over 50 without food (and creeping higher), let's not carb her up. Stick to LC.

+5 56 fed 1½ tsp mc will check her again when I get back home in a ½ hour tops...

Thank you... fed 2 tsp, left out 2 tsp frozen and ½ tsp non frozen... hopefully that'll be enough
