Missed my alarm this morning so Mouse's shot time was a half hour late... Not a great start to the day so hopefully the rest of the days goes better...

I'll be giving her a snack shortly (1tsp FF pate) at +1 to hopefully make sure she doesn't drop to fast this morning... Then another snack at +2 and +3. I'll see where she's at before we need to leave and give medium carbs if necessary... Does that sound like a good game plan?

I'm guessing today shouldn't go too bad because she did well at this dose before, I think it might get a little scarier after a couple few cycles when her Depot starts to build back up from the increase. Am I correct in my thinking?

Not necessarily. Some cats can react to an increase in the very first cycle.

Im always messaging on my phone cause most times I'm outside feeding or caring for the farm critters or working on a project so I'm in and out of the house all day. My laptop is super old and slow so it's just easier to use my phone.

+2 243... That's an ok drop I think compared to her 100+ drops prior.

@Bandit's Mom her +4 is down to 120 so she has managed to sneak in over 100 drop. We have to leave to go to Walmart... Do I give her her normal LC snack or a diluted medium carb? Will be gone for a couple hours.

Hopefully I didn't screw up... I had fed tsp LC already, gave ½ tsp mc 15%, left out 2tsp. LC and half tsp 15% mc

Atleast she didn't eat the other snack I left out for her and stayed plenty safe with her BG.

Thanks, I hope so too... I just felt we were stuck on this rollercoaster with SLGS, I don't know maybe I'm too impatient. I've also have had the encouragement from some amazing experts on here that felt that I might as well put my excessive BG testing to use lol...

I've been reading your posts on Charlie on Facebook... He's absolutely adorable and I agree on the long lost linx point cousins.
Would you believe Mouse was actually a tiny little farm kitten when I rescued her?
Anyway I hope your sweet Charlie gets better. Mouse and I are rooting for him and sending you both hugs, love and positive healing energy.

I actually felt like that back in February. Like we had just run out of runway on SLGS. And then everything fell apart. I'd been trying recently but it's too overwhelming for me.

Mouse was doing so well on earning dose reductions until she wasn't and ended up heading back up in dose. She has a dental scheduled for the end of October and no lie I'm scared sh*tless but I know it's a necessary evil.
Give Charlie a squeeze for us and tell him he's got a couple of yahoos from Wisconsin rooting for him! And hugs for you too... You are a great kitty mama!

We had some big drops again tonight. +4 was 239 and +5 232 so I think I've got the drop slowed down enough that I should be able to go to bed now, I think? Do I need to get a +6?
