More to come but today has been a pink day mostly. Haven’t posted until now bc nothing eventful. He was nauseous earlier and gave him some zofran.
He seems to be eating good. Still has diarrhea. Gave him .5 R to curb the highs. Thinking he’s gonna break the bounce in 2 days? So watch for it on 8/10?
I’m thinking he’s not eating the food with the Aluminum Hydroxide (phosphate binder). Thinking either he doesn’t like it or it’s old (was our prior CKD cats. He passed in January). So just feeding low phosphorus food and hoping that will be enough to lower his phosphorus for now. When vet calls me with all test results, will discuss with her.
