Hello All,

We noticed an increase in Marco's urination and I felt like Marco was looking a little "skinnier" so I decided to go ahead and test him about an hour ago... 312...eep!

He ate his food and I will probably test him again in another hour or two. I will probably continue to monitor him for the next couple of days and if need be schedule an appointment for him with the vettybean to confirm/see what's going on. le sigh!
 
marco what are you doing back here?? Go on now and tell your momma what's the matter so she can get you to the dr and get you all better!
 
yikes! I would get him in to the vet as soon as you can, Marco didn't even spend much time in the 300's even when he was a new diabetic so there must be something going on. Any chance he got into something? How are his teeth? Hopefully it's just a UTI or something equally easy to take care of, but don't let him hang out in the 300's for long. Do you still have any insulin around?
 
Sorry to see you posting! I agree with Libby; if it were me, I'd get Marco in to the vet as soon as you can to see if there's anything that's causing numbers to spike.

Sorry... was trying to run out to eat.

DBF says that he MAY have gotten into some dry but is unsure.
His teefers are somewhat yellowed, but I think that is normal. I'll try to get a better look at them after dinner.

I believe the earliest I'd be able to get him into the vet would be Tuesday/Weds.
I do have insulin :)
 
What's up with Marco? I hope it's something easily identified and treatable. Those numbers aren't so good. He was always our inspiration when we were here. I used to tell Beethoven to be more like Marco--watch what he does. I think it worked. ;-)
