J.D. bounced last night, and I just let him do his bounce, because I was too lazy tired to give him R, and I wanted to see how fast he cleared the bounce. I'm not even sure when his onset is with this new insulin. I know it's later than +2 like it was when he was on Lantus.

I hope everyone has a good day, and stays cool. It is soooooooo hot here. The cats are going out one more time today in a few minutes, and then that's it for the day, it's just too hot for them, I think. And I'll get to listen to them scream "OUT, Mommy! OUT!!"

You need to explain that it's too hot to be outside in a fur coat! While it may be a fashion statement, heat stroke is not advised.

Flat yellow so far today? Are you going to do a curve so you have an idea where onset is?

Onset today was somewhere between +2 and +4.5 :mrgreen: Hey, I narrowed it down, a little..

I find it amazing how Ginger leaps out of her fur, when she jumps from her crouching spot to attack something. She leaves behind the most precious pure white long angora like layer of fur on the grass :lol: silly girl. I found a single baby bunny (a few weeks old, just left the nest age) hopping around near some bushes, so Ginger is back wearing a leash when she's out. She was panting outside just a little while ago, and we are all inside now.

I just fed him 45 minutes ago. I'll feed him again. I hope he isn't doing this everyday, when I go to work.

The Mommy OUT cry his horrible...I wish they would just understand it's just not good for them!

Do you have any evidence to think J.D. is doing this while you're at work???? I hope not too.

No, just the green I saw in his PM cycles, when I stayed up :roll: to test him.

Dose crease! Yay, 1.50 is so much easier to measure.
J.D. just got some more FF and I am thawing out the rest of his shrimp (I have to go buy some more) to celebrate.

Ginger is screaming again, and jumping up against the door. I have a bell on the knob, and both of them like to ring it, when they want to go outside.

Thanks for reminding me Joyce. I'm a little dense I guess. With all the excitement and shrimp to celebrate, I forgot the HC.
Both cats just enjoyed some.

He had HC at +6.33.
He's still laying on the rug in front of the kitchen sink, waiting for more shrimp :lol: He ate a total of 6 shrimp, and
I let him have a Greenie as a special treat.

He's up a little bit.
I don't think he's every had as many pieces of freeze dried kitty treats as he's had today. His tummy should be full.
But he looks happy.

I took a nap and slept "like a rock". I woke up and thought I was late for J.D.'s shot.
He got his new dose at +12, and LC FF for dinner. And, is currently trying to breaking into the treat bag :roll: like he hasn't had enough today.
 
Wow, what a day for J.D.!! He sure got lots of nice, special foods today. And a dosecrease to boot! Hope you can get some sleep tonight Dyana.
