This cat likes to keep me guessing. Not that I'm complaining about this amps. He was rising this morning so I shot the 3 units but a soft 3. Then dropped him and his brother off at my parents' so they can keep an eye on him and see that he eats. Hope they don't spoil him too much.

how nice! Sorry if I may of missed something, but will someone be testing Tray?

This is the lowest pre-shot you've seen and a +1 is highly suggested.

No one will test, he'll just be observed and fed every 2 hours. Tray won't let anyone test him, he hisses and scratches. Should I have not shot? He was rising so I didn't want to ruin the good #

I would ask parents to put down food for the first couple of hours in this cycle.
They have HC too on hand to top his food?

yes they have, and they know how he behaves under hypo conditions. I'll be calling on a regular basis

now I'm worried. But I think he'll be fine, I shot only half a dose on a low blue once and his PM # was awful so I didn't want to blow it this time. But I spoke to my Mom and she said she's feeding him now. Knowing her, she'll give him whatever he wants so I'll try not to be too freaked out.

If he was rising, he'll probably be fine. And he'll be monitored all day so don't worry! I'm sure your parents will take good care of him while you're at TBP.

He'll be fine if your parents are watching and feeding him. That's awesome you can drop them off there like that... It would have been sort of a shame to miss shooting this, you know? LOL...

Congrats - this is your first green preshot? drinking24 Here's to many more (preferably when you can test/monitor him yourself!!!!)

NICE AMPS Tray! Way to go! Try and not worry - I am sure he will be fine - sounds like you have a great caregiver while you are away. What I would give for that! And what I wild give for a green pre-shot! Surf the greens today Tray - OK?

I'm glad you got the +11 so you knew this was a rising number. I'm sure Tray will be fine. Just make sure your mom knows that if Tray is looking for food to give him something to eat. Now, if you can just convince your kitty to let your folks test, all would be even better!

I am blessed to have great parents who love animals and love watching them.
My Mum says he's doing well running around the house torturing the poor dog.

hmmm from your avatar pic it does not look like tray is the type of kitty to torture a dog ... he looks to innocent!

Wow, nice number for Tray this morning! And that's so great that your parents can watch him for you. Oh, how it would make life easier to have someone else to watch Emma...my folks are a couple of hours away, and she doesn't like anyone but me. She even hisses at my teenage neighbor who comes over to let the dogs out when I'm having a long day. I'm jealous!

Tray is normally a sweetie but he has these moments where he just attacks! Luckily I can always tell when he's up to something because he sits there plotting it out first and the tell tale sign is he thinks with the tip of his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
 
Tray and Percival enjoyed their visit to their Grandbeans. They love the huge backyard they got to roam (supervised of course). But Tray was happy to see his Mommy, he nearly jumped through the glass door when he saw me coming up the steps. I was happy to see he was in the yellow numbers and not dreaded pinks like I expected. So we're all home and happy tonight.
