Blackie's doing great. Her weight this morning is 11.56 lbs., which means that she's gone up 0.06 lbs. since the last weigh-in. IF she doesn't go down on her own, I may have to consider doing 1 more food adjustment to bring her down to 11.50 lbs. Otherwise, she's got a dose increase to 3.25u from 3.25u skinny. Her PS #s are coming down, and the +1 #s are almost below 100.
Again, we had storms last night, which killed the power at 8:23 p.m. I was on the phone to the electric company at 8:24 p.m. due to the fact that we have a neighbor who's on a pacemaker, which is monitored by an electric-run sensor to relay information back to the medical team, and I have insulin in the fridge. I'm sure that there are other medical issued folks around here, too. Thankfully, they got it back up and running in about 1 hour's time. The last time, which was on Saturday, it took 3 hours. This is very unusual for us to get rain this time of year. Normally, we're hot, and getting drier by the day. I'm not knocking the rain by any means. We need it. The lake we get our drinking water from is dropping. Last year, it dropped down to about 12+ feet. We don't water our lawn as we're in a rural part of the county, mainly in the country. My concern is the pasture where my horse is. I haven't had to put out any hay as of yet this year (knocking on wood). We're due to get yet more rain today, and then it'll start drying out, and heating up after today. Oh joy. When does fall start again...?
Hope everyone who was in the path of these storms recently stays safe.
MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.
