J.D. kind of dived a little too fast last night.

He jumped up onto the couch last night :-D He also looked stoned. I think I have to start reducing his bupe.

He ate a lot of his 1st Breffis. He didn't want his favorite FF Chunky Turkey, but he happily ate FF Kitten Turkey.
Then he was standing (I don't know why he stands to do this) washing his face and that started him sneezing so he stopped. Anyway, he seems pretty happy at the moment. Both kitties are outside in the cool morning air.

At 5:00am, I started to let the cats out, but saw a bunny (we don't call them rabbits here, because they tend to be small) eating under my neighbors bird feeder. I waited until 6:00am which is AMPS time, and the bunny had left and I let the cats out.

I had a btb and J.D. snoozed on the deck, with the sliding glass door open in case he wanted to come in. Ginger was out and about, and when I got up to check on J.D., she was heading towards home with something in her mouth. I said something to her and went outside, and she had dropped it and it went into the bushes. I put Ginger in the house, and checked on the furry creature and tried to pick it up but it went deeper into the bush. I have looked several times, and just can't find it. I did not see a tail, so I think it was a baby bunny, and hopefully old enough to survive on it's own. Ginger is screaming to get back outside.
Survival vines are being sent for the baby bunny.

Great news on JD hopping onto the couch. I hope that means the acupuncture is working for him. It's always good news when our kitties are happy. Take your time coming down JD.

Oh no on the bunny. :shock: I hope it's OK. But I know both my kitties like it when I splurge and buy them rabbit for dinner.

I am glad to see that J.D. is coming down, but hope that he slows it down a little and does a nice surf.

Poor baby bunny. I hope that it survives also. Ginger is all proud of herself I am sure

One of the things I discussed with the vet was where to get rabbit. I don't think they have it at my grocery store, but I've never looked for it. I used to have rabbits as pets as a child. Lots of rabbits :lol:
Maybe Ginger was trying to help.

I have been communicating with the vet via email, even today on a Sunday. It is so cool to have a vet like that.

Little did you know they would find their own bunny right in your own back yard. I hope the little baby will be ok!

I gave J.D. some Bupe at +8 because he started acting like he felt yucky. Now, I think he started feeling yucky because his BGs were rising.

He just got a small drop of R. Hopefully that will help his PM cycle.

I hope J.D. slides back down slowly tonight. How great that he got on the couch. Sorry about the baby bunny. I hope it will be okay too. We call them bunnies here too and we have a lot in our yard this spring. A couple of them don't run right away when I go out to my car. I have to get pretty close before they run.
