Re: 06/29 J.D. AMPS 438, +2 379, +4 166 and Bear in Complex
The car place said it would be about 30 minutes and it was over an hour when they figured out the part they had in stock wasn't the right part and I'll have to come back next weekend  I ran into an old friend at the auto place, but we didn't talk to each other until he mentioned seeing a bear right around here yesterday afternoon, and he showed me a picture he took. It's a big male bear and it's been in our condo complex

. I would
love to see a bear. Everytime I go to take my garbage out, I think if only we had bears, they would love this (with all the left over cat food)
Bear sighted in Raritan Township I guess I have to not want bears in my garbage, now  But in happier news they do say in the article "There haven't been any reports of threatening behavior or property damage. Therefore, police said, the state Division of Fish and Wildlife won't remove the bear."
Returning home, I was pulling into my parking place just a bit ago, and I thought I should get J.D. on a leash and take him for a nice walk in a different section of our grassy/wooded areas. I tested him as I walked in the door, and was surprised with the blue +4. Then I thought I would treat him to an expensive can of tuna that I finally found that I think doesn't have soy in it (I don't see it listed in the ingredients), and I went to get his bowl, and he was peeing on the carpet :-| , past the pee pad in front of the litter box. He was standing on the pee pad facing the litter box with his nose about 6 inches from it, and overshooting the pee pad and really peed a lot. Then I thought, I shouldn't treat him right away, because what if he associates (he learns
very quickly) the pee outside the box with the tuna.
After cleaning up the pee and soaking the spot with Nature's Miracle, he (and Ginger) got his FF soaked in tuna water with bits of tuna.
I think I'll try taking him outside for a walk now, before it gets too hot outside.
