I was happy I actually had a nap this evening! Yay!
Yes that’s what I was thinkingAre you planning to scan at plus one?
I know! I have this fear it will go out on us!Hopefully the libre will behave this evening. I don’t know how many times today it said to come back in 10 minutes.
Me too. Then its all ears. I bet his ears are sore.I know! I have this fear it will go out on us!

Let me look at his spreadsheet now. Did you scan at all this afternoon? I haven’t had a chance to look yet. I was in the grocery store at 5. Home now.

Meter variance is 20%. He went from 304 to 400 to 364. 20% of 400 is 80, so that 364 is practically the same number. The other thing that could be happening is a Lantus double dip, where they do a tiny bit of a downward curve at the end of the cycle. But honestly, I don't care about anything above 300, it's all just "too high". Any extra data is just noise.Interesting how he went yellow, pink, red and then back down to pink.
I was going to ask someone who also had a cat that dropped a lot the first cycle to stop by with suggestions, but the SS needs to be updated first. Getting an idea of what you have been doing for feeding to date will help. I don't care the brand you feed, but rather the carb%.It’s hard to see how this dropping will become less dramatic.
Yes. Sometimes people do share photos of themselves with their cats!Do people ever share photos of themselves with their cats, or do we just stick to cat faces here? I got a cute one of us yesterday after his big drop was over.
Oh my goodness. It’s a mess over there. I’m sorry. This will take a while. Do you want me to do the asterisk to indicate contour readings too?A favour to ask of you Jill on the spreadsheet. The US spreadsheet isn't showing any of the values, because of the multiple entries. Could you go in an delete the "#value!" on the US sheet and replace it with the equivalent US values. What is important to show on the spreadsheet is the lower numbers. We dose based on how low the dose is taking the cat. So don't worry about updating anything above 200, just the blues and greens.
Exactly. I like it to be on the hour or half so I don’t have to do fractions.Close enough. It’s not neurosurgery! But I don’t like it when the Libre gets us off schedule.
How about feeding a little carbs. Tell me what you have. Like 5-6 percent... not the big guns. and scan in 20. let's see what he does on that, because if he doesn't stay flat or go up a little, then we will know that he needs more carbs. Okay? Or what did you find this morning? Did you get a good response to low carbs, or not?11.3(203) libre @ +1
I agree. What about some 15 percent early? Or just go for even higher- really early in the cycle and then we go from there. I’m thinking we haven’t tried that yet. Do you think we should bring out the big guns (not honey but high carb food.)Seems like he’s heading down fast?
I think we at least give 15 percentGave him one spoon of 5.7 carb (melting heart). Should i not write the name of the food on my notes then?
Just write percentageGave him one spoon of 5.7 carb (melting heart). Should i not write the name of the food on my notes then?
I think that would be okaySo give him a 15 now on top of the 5.7?
Me too. IThis morning, you didn't start feeding until +2. So tonight we have started at +1, I hope that will make a difference.
Is it time yet. 20 minutesI’m scared. But Ivy is here and she is calming me down.
If it’s getting low, perhaps.Ear test prob too?
That’s quite a response to the carbs. Perhaps he only needed the lower 5-6.12.7 on libre
