I read that if you download your Libre data to the computer that you can see data for an entire 24 hours as long as you scan every 8 hours. So you could see what he did after bed last night.

Yes it's there but as i say just double check the Protein, fat, moisture, fibre and ash just be sure it's the same carbs.
I always double check the packet/tin with the UK food list because because manufacturers can and do change their ingredients.
It will be written on the tin.

Yes I would use the libre.
As he seems to do his biggest drops in the first few hours, I would try testing each 1/2 hour to see if we can slow the drop.
I would use low carb food.

I would stay with the libre for now.
Post what the BG is each time and we can decide if food is needed. That food you posted is low carb.

Sounds like a good plan. Although if he’s still really high just use the Libre? Up to you. I like the meter but Merlin’s ears…

Makes perfect sense to me. If we are going to stick with .25 for a bit, we want to know what to expect. But I guess it will change as he adjusts to it.

Write down what % carbs you gave and when in the cycle so you can refer to it at a later date. If you can put it into the remarks column you will be able to see at a later date how effective it was.
