This is a hassle. But right now it seems increasingly important given the discrepancy between the two. 52 points in these numbers can alter decision making on how to intervene and how often to test. Thank you for doing it.We Agreed this morning that I would put only the Libre readings into the spreadsheet, but note the contour readings in the notes. It’s been a giant hassle, but Ive kept up with that.
When a cat is over 100, you are fine going an hour between tests, even longer if he's rising. Once you learn Merlin's patterns on Lantus, you will be able to be more strategic about testing. It's early days yet, so all data is good data right now. It'll take a while to figure out how Merlin reacts to Lantus, though initial data shows he likes early drops which will mean more testing early on the cycle. TBD if that pattern stays true.
