i am overwhelmed by the kindness and support from you all. It really feels like your thoughts and prayers have helped Lando. Its truly amazing that at 18 he continues to get better.
One unfortunate thing is that Landos AMPS was 246. I hoped with such low numbers on .1u and no sugar in his urine, he might magically stay low
oh well.. i started him back on insulin today.
i did not hear him go to the litterbox ( 2 ft away from his bed) and he seemed to get out of the box without kicking everything up and leaving a “trail” back to his bed… so i am hopeful there.
he ate some churu for the first time today and i will try to see if he will eat some of his mid day meal on his own.
if anyone has any experience with diabetic neuropathy and thinks i should re address it with the doctor, i would love to hear. I asked her about it and she was convinced it was extreme weakness + low potassium. ( btw i have a video that im sure i could post if needed)
thank you everyone. You each, individually are such a comfort and huge help
