well one more visit to the vet showed that Lando has low potassium. He is also still dehydrated and very weak. At least his colon is clear.

I have potassium powder, syringe feeding and sub q fluids. The dr said i should know if he may turn around in a few days

Raising potassium takes time but hopefully the fluids will make him feel a lot better. Are you to give fluids once or twice a day?

Hi Chelsea , I don't know how I missed your thread from yesterday,
I always think of him say to myself I hope he's still eating good.
I will be saying lots of prayers for him that everything you are trying for him works.

Thank you friends! Your thoughts for lando mean so much. Well, his health is not dramatically different. Still can not support his weight for very long ( tho the doctor checked for indications of paralysis)
He still has very loose stools and is needing daily fluids. He DOES seem a bit more alert and is purring. He also is interested in treats.
I think one of you said that low potassium takes a week or so to resolve? I began the supplement on monday.
Thank you again for everything. He is snug in a cat bed lined with pee pads and has blankets and stays with me as i work.

Today was a pretty good day for lando. It is the first time i felt like he may pull through. Tomorrow i will test BG and post. His energy is improvimg, appetite improving, loose bowel improving. His mobility is the one thing that still seems poor.
