I rechecked him about 45 minutes after AMPS and he was at 98. I will be praying all day that he doesn't go too low because no one is there to check him.
He has never been this low in the morning. Nothing else is different. He had his usual diet of Newman Own along with a bit of Purina mixed grill and some freeze dried chicken treats and 2 small pieces of cheese. Sunday night he did have quite a bit of fresh salmon as a special treat. He had a good stool this morning and spent most of the night sleeping in bed with me which he doesn't usually do. He was very happy to go outside on the patio last night and he nibbled on the catnip plants and rubbed his chin on the cement which makes me very happy to see.

Hi Lydia

wow! Jake has a better breakfast than most humans!
Nice WCR!!
Just leave plenty of foods out for Jake, most kitties will head to the food bowl if they are in the low range.
Stay positive! You're doing good!

Hello,
I'm not sure that I visited you before!
Nice AMPS!!!! I see some progress in this condo... tis good!!!
Couple of notes... I wouldn't dare to say of wisdom

- you got a +0.75hr - very well done! It's what is good to do when you shoot low! If you can and because you have to leave (I've assumed) in the morning... try to get a PMPS +11 to get your head wrapped around the dose and as to not be in total panic mode (been there, done that). If you know where Jake is... and you have some time to think (with coffee) it's better for your nerves... just saying.

- If you have to go and you're going to worry... you can always add a little HC and make a mix of MC - look at JD's SS... Dyana is good at marking what she feeds.

- if you can collect some data in the evening, it will also ease your nerves while being away. Can you see that Jake's progress has started at PMPS already.... see the blues in there? That's progress my friend!!!! :-D

You are going great... keep up the good work!

Helene's suggestions are excellent, as usual, so I'll just say "nice shooting" and "I can't wait to see where Jake is at PMPS!"

At PMPS he was 99 and then PMPS +3 he was 100.
But I was so worried all day that I asked a friend (begged, really) to come by and check him at about +7. She couldn't check his glucose but she gave him a bit of food and called me at work to tell me he was fine.
