Jackson had some really nice blues last night 🩵, and I'm happy I woke up to catch them.
I'm sure he knew they were coming on, but maybe not. I had a big dinner for me, and made some chocolate pudding to use up some expiring milk for desert. After I ate my pudding, he started to lick the bowl, and I took it away. About an hour later I had another bowl and he did the same thing. That was when he was yellow before he went to blue.

I woke up to Jackson and Sabrina chasing each other around the house and playing happily. :cat: 🐈‍⬛

Nice to see blues again last night, sounds like Jackson likes them too! Too bad about the resulting bounce.

You asked yesterday about cabergoline. This is something you can start anytime. You need to approach the topic with your vet, as it's something they have to prescribe. Most cats on cabergoline end up needed smaller doses and we've had maybe half a dozen go OTJ on it. A lot of cats on it also see some reduction in the acro side effects, another good reason to go on it.

As far as dose increases go, the smaller increases, like 0.5 units at this size of dose, are something that are better for doses that need just a little tweak down on the nadirs. However, if you want to experiment with that size of increase and see what happens, you can do it. You have to learn your cat's reaction to dose changes. And you can do that by experimenting.
