Thanks Pamela we keep the windows closed during the day, while we are at work. But last evening we left them open. Plus the street sweeper has been around. Probably why she's been coughing lately.

Hi Adrienne, sorry Molly's allergies are acting up, and yours also.
Our kitties have enough to deal with, they even have to get allergies too!
I hope you both feel better . Have a good rest of the day ♥:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh, poor Molly. I hope the Flovent helps and she'll keep on breathing easier. Does the Flovent affect her BG? Or just the stress of having an asthma attack?

Mines under control so far. But Molly has been sneezing and coughing lately. Hopefully she's better tonight.

Hi Adrienne! I am so sorry to hear that Molly's asthma is kicking in. Pollen really ramping up? So grateful you have the asthma meds!

You know, I've been thinking about the higher BGs with asthma attacks. I don't think (for Pearl) that the actual inhaler steroids cause her BG to go up, because she gets the Flovent/Albuterol year round for comparison. What I think happens is that the actual asthma ATTACKS are significant stressors to the system and cause the BG to shoot up. What do you think? Could this be for Molly too, or does Molly definitely react to the drugs?

I never thought of that be yea that’s a possibility. She does get stressed easily. Especially if I’m outside more word the nicer weather

Pearl has only had one asthma attack recently, but I've been noticing some days she just breathes a lot "louder". I am trying to use the Ventolin more frequently now too to keep her bronchials open. The only time her BG has gone up has been that 1-and-only attack she has had so far this Spring, so I am thinking it must be stress-response related. (She didn't have FD last Spring, so this is my first pollen season with the FD on board too).
