Hi Carla, thanks for the shout outI wonder if Nelli not feeling good is making her numbers wacky
Hi Wendy, if you get a chance would you please look at Nelli SS and chime in on what you think is going on with her?
Yup, that's enough to set off another bounce. Maybe getting another test a little earlier than +5 would have let you spot the drop, and slow the drop with food. But I also see you are feeding kibble. TR requires and all low carb wet or raw diet (except HC wet/raw when needed).Dropped FOUR HUNDRED in 5 hours![]()
@Wendy&NekoBut I also see you are feeding kibble
I don't know for sure. I was just giving you another idea. If she's not feeling well it could make her numbers go up and then if she starts feeling better they could come back down. Sometimes it is hard to tell what is going on.I will be sending an email to her vet tonight. What do you think the likelihood of her not feeling good has to do with her wacky numbers? When I talk to her vet, I (always) need to make confident statements relating to diabetes... like “Nelli’s numbers are all over the place- often jumping into the mid three hundred because she is not feeling well.”

@Wendy&Neko ... HC- only time Nelli ever gets kibbles; I choose to give her a (what I believe is) high quality dry opposed to commercial wet food when a HC is warranted(except HC wet/raw when needed).
Yes... it’s maddeningI don't know for sure. I was just giving you another idea. If she's not feeling well it could make her numbers go up and then if she starts feeling better they could come back down. Sometimes it is hard to tell what is going on.![]()
