04.07.2019 Nelli +5 89; +6.5 103 PMPS 317

I'm glad the Zymox is helping Nelli's ears. I hope you can get some bupe for her and keep her from being constipated. I wonder if Nelli not feeling good is making her numbers wacky. It looks like she cleared that bounce quickly. Good thing you tested when you did. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug:

I wonder if Nelli not feeling good is making her numbers wacky
Hi Carla, thanks for the shout out :)
I will be sending an email to her vet tonight. What do you think the likelihood of her not feeling good has to do with her wacky numbers? When I talk to her vet, I (always) need to make confident statements relating to diabetes... like “Nelli’s numbers are all over the place- often jumping into the mid three hundred because she is not feeling well.”
Her vet drives me crazy :mad:… Continues to talk about doing a fructoseamine test I always refer back to the data I keep, actually always have iPad in hand to show her spreadsheet :eek:
Thanks

Hi Wendy, if you get a chance would you please look at Nelli SS and chime in on what you think is going on with her?
Dropped FOUR HUNDRED in 5 hours o_O
Yup, that's enough to set off another bounce. Maybe getting another test a little earlier than +5 would have let you spot the drop, and slow the drop with food. But I also see you are feeding kibble. TR requires and all low carb wet or raw diet (except HC wet/raw when needed).

But I also see you are feeding kibble
@Wendy&Neko
Thanks for checking in on- Nelli out :)

I only (ever) feed Nelli kibbles if when I test a low (concerned) number; knowing I can’t be around to monitor.

Nelli diet (otherwise) is a raw diet. Within past few weeks, if I feed her a raw protein, I am conscious to complete this :)... otherwise her diet is Darwin’s raw cat food diet which is complete and balanced.

Rarely is Nelli fed kibles- if so, only as the need for HC arises :).

I don't know for sure. I was just giving you another idea. If she's not feeling well it could make her numbers go up and then if she starts feeling better they could come back down. Sometimes it is hard to tell what is going on. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes... it’s maddening :(- I just want to help, do all I can to help her feel good/great :cat: :bighug:
