Hey everyone, it’s been awhile since I’ve needed to post here. Comet has been OTJ since December and we are still holding strong. At his vet appointment today he was 114 (but I guarantee he would be lower if I checked) Anyways, he AGAIN has a resorptive lesion on 1 of his 2 last molars left. And I feel awful. I just noticed it’s redness last week & he has been having a bit more difficulty eating. My question is, can this issue cause him to become Diabetic again? We probably won’t be able to do the extraction for a month or so. He is going through Chronic Kidney Disease, so any sort of anesthesia is critical to his little body & we need to plan and take extra precautions. So I get very nervous. Should I be testing more until his extraction or should he be ok?
