Oh NO!!! Sandy, I'm so sorry to hear of Black Kitty's passing!!!

It's been a very sad day on the message board today

Fly free Black Kitty, and land softly...There are so many of your old friends at the Bridge to welcome you and keep you company until it's time for the one you loved most to come be with you forever.

Sandy I'm so sorry and don't have words that will make a difference but keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for helping with Doodles but please just take time for yourself. Fly free sweet angel. :bighug::bighug:
 
(((Sandy))) I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your beloved Black Kitty. My memories of him on FDMB go back so many years. He was a special cat, and he will be sadly missed. My deepest condolences to you on your loss.

I was at bowling when I got the news and just couldn't watch the video or read the tributes, as I knew I'd be bawling like a baby. Just watched it and read them and I am. There are no words to express to you how very sorry I am that you are having to deal with this. I know how raw the pain is, and how you are hurting. Take care of yourselves, you and Dominic, and know that you have all the love and support of L&L Land at your beck and call. You have helped so many of us, and we all wish we could take the pain away for you.
Black Kitty, you are such a very special kitty, an icon of FDMB. You will be missed so greatly by many who never stroked your fur, and desperately by those that had the privilege of doing so every day. Fly free on your new wings, dear BK, and land softly. :rb_icon:

(((Sandy))) I am so very sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences to you:bighug::bighug::bighug: I hope Black Kitty passed peacefully and is now at the Bridge with Crystal. He was such a legend in LL lore, he will forever be remembered here. Thank you Sandy for all the help you offered with IAA for Crystal.

Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss of Black Kitty... He was so obviously loved, deeply, by many. And the loss of our babies is devastating. It is never enough to say ANY words... Always inadequate.... but I pray for peace and comfort to you.
 
Sandy I am so saddened to hear that Black Kitty has crossed to bridge. Your love and care gave BK many happy years of life in spite of the medical issues. Hold close your special memories of BK to gibe you strength and peace as you go through this sad sad time

At times of loss, words seem so inadequate. I have memories of BK's OTJ party and reading what led up to what those who were far more knowledgeable than I thought was nothing short of a miracle. For the members here who are not aware of BK's story, he was the first cat here diagnosed with insulin resistance (IAA). Sandy and BK broke new ground. People were nothing short of terrified of the high doses that were needed to manage BK's numbers. Ultimately, BK has left us all with a legacy of hope -- and shredded paper towels. But, it is that story of hope and knowing your cat that transcends all and gives all of the caregivers with a high dose cat a view of what can be.

Fly free BK and land softly. You will be forever remembered here. Our kitties at the Bridge will keep you safe and purring until you are reunited with the ones you love best.
 
My deepest condolences to you Sandy and Dominic on the loss of your beloved Black Kitty. It was a shock to see your message. There really are no words at such a time. Black Kitty was blessed to be loved by you. Healing prayers and hugs for you. ΑΓΑΠΗ :bighug::bighug:
 
Oh, Sandy, I am so very sorry!! My heart goes out to you. I am so glad that I had a chance to meet BK (and you, of course!) at the Pittsburgh Reunions. He will be sorely missed. Fly free BK and hugs to your mom.

I can't even find the words...........I am so sorry.......I didn't get to know BK but from what was shared about him recently on Karen and Doodle thread about him being an IAA high does kitty and that he got OTJ. It is apparent of how much you were devoted to his care and how much you loved him. Fly High, land Softly, BK. Sending your prayers of comfort and peace.

I am in utter shock seeing this, I can hardly write for my tears. I haven't been long on the board but over the months I have read snippets of BK story, he was a fighter and a very special kitty, he has left a legacy that will certainly help many kitties to yet to come, my heart is breaking for you. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Sandy, I am so sorry to read of BK's passing. You both were so inspirational here, helped me so much when Mannie and I started our journey . You both were very special. I know all the memories will be of comfort for you. Hugs to you.
