Good morning,

Bit worried about Pip.
I went up to 3.25 but aside from one green evening on the 26th, he is still in the high yellows at preshot and mid blues mostly during his cycles.

he also has pretty bad diarhea still, i feed a mix of dm and fancy feast, either beef or chicken or chicken and liver, with pure bites dried beef liver as treats.

He seems to be ok, he has an apetite, but he clearly is not getting better. We had some nice cycles at the beginning of the year and I was in high spirits and hoping for remission but now we've plateaued.

Also my current bout with depression is probably not helping the mood but i am really trying to do everything right.

Wishing everyone a great day and a safe surf 🏄‍♀️ 💕

Hi Sarah, I’m sorry you’re feeling blue 😥❤️‍🩹
Sending you good wishes of support 🍀🍃🍃🍀🍃🫂

You’re doing such a great job with your sweet Pip. He’s so lucky to have you 💕
Could he be allergic to any of the foods he’s eating? Are any of them new to him and maybe he’s having a reaction with loose stools to one of the foods either beef or chicken?
What is the dose of S. Boulardii you are giving? It’s possible he could use a little bit more, I’m not sure but we could certainly see if anyone has any ideas?
Have you checked with your vet about the loose stools? Maybe there is something going on that they would want to do a lab test on his stools?
How long has it been going on with him? Has something changed that you can pinpoint that triggered this situation?

I like this product 2x daily when Ivy gets loose stools (Amazon carries it too)

I know others use different remedies as well.

I hope Pip has a gentle cycle for you and you both have a good day 🌊🏄‍♂️💕🍀🍃🥰

I'm sorry things are tough right now, Sarah. I've sure been there quite a bit recently. Big hugs if you want them.

I've gone back through a few of your posts, but I didn't find this/can't remember - did you talk to the vet about the ongoing diarrhea issues, and if so, what possible causes have been discussed? Like Staci, it makes me wonder about food allergies/sensitivities ... and other potential causes, given my experience with Gen and his enteropathy (IBD etc).

I am increasingly convinced that there's just no such thing as "doing everything right" when you're talking about something as complex as a living creature with varied needs. You put a ton of care into Pip, and he's lucky to have you. ❤️
