It's NOT a short leap...it must be over 3feet between the counter and the island...but the island is the same height as our counters...so why doesn't he just jump from the ground to the island :joyful:? Didn't say he was the sharpest...lol.
 
When my girls were just 3 months they would jump from their cat trees to my bed, several feet away. As a kid we had a kitten that fell off a bed and broke his leg. So my stomach would drop with these kittens but nothing I could do about it.

Jax must be feeling really good! :)

Oh no-poor kitten! When Benji was younger, he would jump to the top of the fridge from the counters - that always freaked me out. And yes I think Jax is doing super, though notably most active for breakfast :p

Hi Susanne, beautiful numbers Jax is giving, these cats like to give us a heart attack
when they jump from one place to another.
Perry used to jump up one the stove to the top of the fridge and then to the kitchen table.
Tyler will just wait and look at me to pick him up and put him on the counter.
I'm glad he does because he's so clumsy lol, all I need is for him to hurt himself.
OK Jax we know you can jump pretty far now, but please stop, don't give us a heart attack lol

Tyler is doing great, I feel like I made a big deal about the dental now lol
I'll wait a few more days then going to attempt brushing his teeth, whether he likes it or not lol

I was talking to Katherine about Ruby concerning brushing their teeth
Here was the condo if you care to read it and what I said about Petsmile Toothpaste, a member here recommended it , her vet recommended it. I did it for awhile a long time ago but
stopped, got lazy, bad mom , but I'm definitely going to start it again
