The dose is based on how low your kitty is dropping (Nadir)
You need to stick with the same dose for booth cycles unless he earns a reduction or if you need to increase per the dosing method you choose

Learn how YOUR kitty is responding to insulin:
- Onset - the length of time before insulin reaches the bloodstream & begins lowering blood glucose
- Peak/Nadir - the lowest point in the cycle
- Duration - the length of time insulin continues to lower blood glucose
typical Lantus onset is around +2-+3. Some onset a little earlier.
Nadir doesn't always happen at the same time during the cycle ,usually with lantus it could be @+5 or @+6
