Good meowning our wonderful FD furrrriends
I wanted to finally share this update about Nestle with all of you so you know what's been going on with us.
So about a week and half ago Nestle was being naughty and decided to eat a pecan butter tart

It was totally my fault as I left it on the counter but my boys rarely go on counters and /or mess with items on the counter. And the butter tart was there for an entire week (it was individually wrapped) and neither one of my boys was interested in it. Until Nestle decided it's free for all. Sometime in the late sunday night or early Monday morning he ate about a third or so of it.
I woke up to him having diarrhea in the litter box, which I thought was really weird cause he never really has gastro issues. When I got up to clean it I found the eaten tart on the kitchen floor. So I realized that would explain his diarrhea. About half hour later he threw up. That morning he didn't want to eat breakfast at all, which is very unusual for him as he's always a hungry monkey. That's how I knew he's not well. I checked his BG but I expected it to be high due to high sugar in the tart. I kept monitoring for few days and although it seemed he was coming down on his own (the first 2 days), he then shot up into 300. After much thought and considerstion I decided he cannot do this on his own and needs a small push, so I put him back on insulin. Today is day 7 on 0.5 units and he's been doing really well *anti-jinx* His SS is updated if anyone wants to check it out.
I've been very upset with myself and kicking myself for being so stupid and reckless but I'm happy with his progress.
I'll be going to work this evening and returning tomorrow night. Michelle is coming to look after the boys.
