[Butters & Lyla]

Yesterday night I released Butters from her prison/my bathroom and she has free reign over her domain. She is nice and clean once again and has resumed grooming herself.

Today, I'm desperately waiting with baited breath for butters to poop. She doesn't care. She is too busy sleeping, grooming and eating.

Praying to the old and new gods for Butters to poop. And re: SEB, I was getting confusing information from an IBD FB group. There IS a lot of soluble fiber in SEB so it can act as a stool softener as well as a solution for diarrhea. It also has antacid properties which is why it's so good as a natural remedy for nausea.

She may not go today though. I’m so glad she’s doing well again. What are you going to do, give regular Miralax?

She hasn't gone today. If she doesn't go by tomorrow afternoon, I will likely be calling the vet.
Her vet said give 1/4 tsp Miralax bid, so I'm doing that right now. I'm also thinking of getting some lactulose to try. I've always added pumpkin to her food, and that has always done the trick until now. Hopefully the miralax works.
