I've been looking at that picture lately and wondering if Yum is almost too lethargic to notice a sunny spot.
Gizmo's Hemocrite 19.6 (range 30.3-52.3%). I looked at Yums last test (01/30/18) was 28 (range 28.2 - 52.7 %) so IDK. I do think you need to keep an eye on it.:bighug:

Left him a table spoon of MC gravy in his +2.5 and +4.5. I am also going to reduce to 0.875U tonight. I am making myself sick with worry. If I knew he would eat - it might help but my stress level right now is through the roof. Work is very stressful right now too with everything going on. I just have to balance Gizmo and his numbers with everything else going on.

Well done, Gizmo! :D

He must be starting to feel a lot better, that's what it looks like on his SS anyway. :bighug:
I think he is. Is appy still isn't great but that may be the BP meds (I have to go find the post where that was mentioned and what was recommended). I am going to give it through the weekend and see how it goes.

Yum's appetite has really dropped with her numbers, making me trade one worry for another. She has learned she can manipulate me. Now I put the radcat down, she sniffs it, then turns her back and sits down. She waits for me to open "no added salt" canned salmon or sardines, and add some as a topper. Sardine juice worked well for her mid morning snack, without adding much phosphorus. I had to burst out laughing at her masterful manipulation of her bean. Does Gizmo like salt free tuna juice or sardine juice? I wonder if the pet pharmacies sell low carb flavorings they use for medicines.
You are so thorough, I'm sure you have tried everything. You must be under so much stress, handling Gizmo and your job. Good luck.

OMG! I am so glad you posted this. Yes, yes, yes. It is amazing how well he eats when "no-one is around" - lol. The evening cycles have become a real battle unless he is famished or the Mirtz has a large enough build up time. When his numbers where high(er) I was attempting to just ignore him and let him be (and he would either eventually eat or skip his +2.5 snack but would eat his +4.5 snack) but with these lower numbers I feel like I need to make sure he eats before I go to bed to make sure he is safe. BTW - the ignoring him was working and he was eventually eating on his own and about 85-90% of his food after a couple of days.

I do have toppers and the such and sometimes they help but I do think it is more a battle of the wills (unless, of course, it is nausea - which looks completely different).

@Bobbie And Bubba I posted on a local forum (fishing) and asked about the blue bonnets and wildflowers - everyone is saying another month. They are up and it is a bumper crop but only about 2-3" out of the ground. :( So sorry.

Oh Bummer!!! Well, maybe by the time I get there they will be 3.25 inch out of the ground, LOL. Well, I sure like that photo anyway and I we'll have to go back again and try and catch them.

Wow, sorry you're so stressed everywhere. Reducing is a good move. As you say, you really don't know if Giz will eat or not, so stay safe. hugs:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
