Good Morning!!

I didn't post my PMPS last night  J.D. was 405 at PMPS and continued to go higher. I did a middle of the night test and at +8.5 he was 460, so I'm actually relieved to see this pink AMPS. I don't know if he went low yesterday while I was at work and he is bouncing, or I gave a fur shot, or what. Anyway, he seems fine. He hungrily ate his breffis and has used the L.B. and is active and snuggily.

I almost overslept his AM shot, with the big blanket of snow. Unfortunately, I have to go to tbp in this. Wish me luck.

Good morning,Dyana!
Hope that J.D. clears whatever is and get into better #s.
For You girl....drive and stay safe!

Good luck getting out and about today. I know your frustration of wondering about high numbers at night, thinking that anything could have happened during the day. Don't you wish they could implant a small chip in the bloodstream (like the id microchip) that could tranmit a bg readout whenever you wanted? I guess the cat would have to pass under a scanner, which you could set up over their food bowl or favorite bed or something? It would have to hook up with a transmitter to send the reading over the computer so we could check up on them from work. In another lifetime maybe. Have a good snow day.

J.D. was used as some kind of experiment back in 2005 when he was hospitalized for 8 days with DKA. Along with a tube in every leg, they had a box on his back attached with a harness and somehow it was collecting data all the time. I think they downloaded the data or something. I don't know what exactly it did, but I would think it was measuring his BG all the time. I felt I should get a discount on the medical bills for donating the use of my cat for their experiment, but I never asked. I am very shy, and didn't ask a lot of questions. Maybe it was testing the new monitors that human diabetics sometimes wear.

I am at work. I am just worried, if they call a state of emergency and shut the roads down, I will have to walk home. And that could take 3 hours or more.

Dyana,I just hope that You can go home earlier if is that much snowing.
Walk home??? No way! Ask if You can leave early!
thinking about You!

Since I work in the transportation industry, one of the drivers was sent to pick me up this morning, and my kindly boss, let me leave 2 hours early (because I threatened to walk home if they called a State Of Emergency and closed the roads), and our in-house mechanic drove me home (a 20 minute ride took almost an hour). Some roads still aren't plowed  .

J.D. was 378 when I got home at +10, so I gave him a TOR. J.D. went out with me in the snow for a little bit. I just walk out there, and he comes to me, because he's so loyal and such a good boy! I brushed off the snow and dried him off when we got in the house. I think he's catnipping on the bed right now...

It's nice to be home (again) on such a winter wonderlandy day!
