Another exciting night for Vyktor last night  Looks like he's finally getting with the program! It is just wonderful to think about that pancreas of his healing.
Many thanks to Sandy for her advice earlier in our evening, luckily we averted a stall by the skin of our teeth and the results were amazing. Thanks to the cheer squad too, beaming from ear to ear here
Although after last night and Thursday night I am wondering whether our schedule is right. During the working week I get an AMPS and then don't get another test until +6. On Thursday night I knew low numbers were coming because of the plus +4 if it had been a workday I would arrived home to a very unexpected 52  Now that he's seeing some green numbers I'm not sure that is good enough. He does have food available while I'm gone but still it is a little concerning.
Do I need to start trying to get a +2 before I go to work to ensure Vyktor's safety? This creates a bit of a problem, although I work on flexi time (so as long as I get the hours done it is okay) whichever way I try to plan it I would not be able to get my full day in if I get that +2. Obviously Vyktor's safety comes first so I could see about working reduced hours if necessary - thoughts anyone?
Guess I'm going to have to buy one of those timed feeders too. The opposite problem of everyone else - being a free feeder it won't be so he gets an extra meal, it will be so it cuts off his food 2 hrs before his shot - I haven't been getting up at 4am to do that. His bowl is usually empty in the morning but he may very well have been eating a bit after the 4am cut off some mornings, it hasn't mattered so much with his numbers so high but the dance tune is changing...
Recap:
AMPS 364
+3 302
+6 268
+9 169
+10 157
+11 133
PMPS 137
+2 86
