I did and she went back up … just find it fast to keep dropping low … it stresses me I’m scanning her like every 1hr LololThe 1.0 dose is influencing this cycle. Feed a little hc and test in 30 minutes
absolument! The libre sometimes reads lower than the bg actually is sometimes so when you get a line I would recheck with a ear prick.
Definitely. Already mentioned that but worth repeating. Thanks.Even if we were to assume that the Libre reading is correct, it is still the previous depot (1U) affecting this cycle. Back to back reductions often fail.
I don’t see the link to your spreadsheet. Please include it so we can see what you are doing since you use the Libre it seems. Are you using the Libre2 sensor? If so, while there can be some IG readings that will be lower vs the human meter or AT2 in the lower ranges, the Libre2 often reads very close to or even the same as the BG (this happens when glucose is not changing and is steady) so it is important to check the reading vs assuming the Libre2 is reading lower. I actually use the AT2 to cross check a low reading & I have had quite a few IG readings in the low 50s and the AT2 was similar which is very important info. Knowing the AT2 reading is that low results in different decision making.
In the past, the Libre prior to the Libre2 did often read lower—sometimes quite a bit lower—vs BG, especially & specifically in the lower ranges. This issue was corrected with the Libre2, so it is important not to assume the reading from your sensor is much lower/aka safe & that it is actually higher if you checked with a BG meter.
Whenever I got a low reading on any meter I checked immediately with my backup. Any meter can be off. I did the same with a high that didn’t fit.

!! Don’t want to distract from it I have stopped using the Libre because of that. Good to know!Of course. This is not about one or the other being off as much as it is about the experience with the Libres. The one that has been used up until the Libre2 was introduced, the IG tended to run much, much lower than the BG at times, even beyond what would be expected due to a timing issue. This was in humans and cats as well. When they created the Libre2, they addressed this issue because it was a problem. It now is much more accurate in the lower ranges
. Unless someone has been using the 2, they may not be aware that there has been this important change.

There is always a lot we can learn from others’ experiences. That is why we ask members to post a SS even if they don’t ask for dosing advice. As more members use the Libre and Libre2, it becomes even more helpful to see other SSs.
I do not use the FDMBs spreadsheet. I use LibreView which actually shares all of our info directly with my Feline DM specialist/Endo who manages T. I just explained what I do pertaining to checks with the Libre2 & the changes with the Libre2 vs any type of dosing question or info so I am perplexed about what you need/want to see exactly.
Please feel free to PM me so I can try to answer your questions or to help since this is someone’s else’s condo and thread!! Don’t want to distract from it

It is especially helpful for anyone who does give advice to post their SS. Personally, I never took the advice of anyone whose kitty’s SS I could not see. It’s why you still see SSs linked for those of us who have lost our babies. Lots of learning there!
Thank you, Amy![]()
. Again, when an issue like this comes up, I would hope & ask to please have the discussion off someone’s condo because it doesn’t seem to be the best or most appropriate place for it.Again, when an issue like this comes up, I would hope & ask to please have the discussion off someone’s condo because it doesn’t seem to be the best or most appropriate place for it.
