Hey everyone.

Long time no post. I have been lurking a bit and have been keeping an eye on my favorite sugar kitties. Thought I would pop in and give people a head's up on the Libre 3+ issue we have been having the last couple of days. (don't look at my spreadsheet...it is blank, FYI). Indy's blood sugar has been consistently under 200 (except maybe right at shot time), which is fine. All of a sudden yesterday, I wake up and check his sensor data. It said that he was over 400 for most of the night. I freaked out, thinking he had gotten into something or maybe he had some type of infection. The sensor kept throwing error messages throughout the day and I only had expired test strips for the one-touch. Finally tested him anyways and it said 90 when the libre sensor said 250. That made me go to CVS and get a new glucometer and test strips (since I had been stealing hubby's). New glucometer...said 89. Same thing happened today. I hadn't had a chance to swap out his libre yet. It said he was at 351 on the libre....Contour said 148.

Always verify when the numbers go wonky! It will save you a lot of stress!!!!!!!

Otherwise, Indy is doing okay. He is on a low dose of cerenia for his nausea from his IBD. But his energy levels are good, he is maintaining his weight, wants his loves and overall is a good boy. Myself on the other hand, I have been on disability leave from work since end of April. I did not make it back for the first day of school because of my anxiety being off the charts. Started some new meds and I am starting to feel human again but exhausted, so hopefully I will be back at work soon.

Love you all! <3 <3 <3

That must have been so scary! So glad it was the sensor being wonky and not Indy’s BG.

You are not alone in how you’re feeling🫂 I hope the new meds continue to work for you and everything comes together soon with your job. Super proud of you for continuing forward and taking care of yourself on top of everything else❤️

Hi Jessica, so glad to see your update.
Very glad you’re taking care of yourself. Wishing you lots of good luck with the new meds. I hope you will feel better soon 💖

Great job trusting your instincts about the weird numbers you were seeing on the Libre and double checking them with a handheld meter.
It’s great that you got a new meter and fresh strips. So important to always have that on hand. You’re such a good cat mom 💖

Very glad Indy is doing well, and that he’s always looking for love from you guys. Wishing him continued good health 😻

Thank you for the update. Ivy and I send you love and hugs for 💞🫂💖
